About the Tests
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT) is used by UK schools to assess pupils’ developed abilities and likely academic potential. Performance in the CAT is also used to judge progress over the academic year and make decisions regarding setting children according to ability. The most common form is the CAT4 created by GL Assessment.
The Pre-test is an online assessment that forms part of the selection process at a number of independent schools in the UK. The tests are normally taken by students in Year 6 or 7. The most common form is the ISEB Common Pre-test.
UKiset is an online assessment that forms part of the selection process for international students who wish to gain entry to leading UK independent schools.
UKiset consists of three sections. Our practice test will help students prepare for the first section of UKiset, which tests Verbal, Non-Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning.
