Introduction
North Bridge House School is an independent school with two Senior School campuses, one in Hampstead and one in Canonbury. Operated by Cognita, North Bridge House Senior Hampstead boasts a rich range of modern facilities, including specialist teaching suites and a spacious sports hall. [1]
Tailored to provide a firm grounding for pupils of various abilities, the school’s curriculum covers Latin, English, science, DT, MFL and PSHE, among others. Creative and independent thought is strongly encouraged in class, thus pupils develop a spirit of enquiry and approach the exploration of various concepts accordingly. [2]
After classes, they get to further advance their learning across a range of activities that embody the enrichment programme. Everything from engineering, yoga and chess to astronomy, dance and DofE is on offer, allowing students to maximise the scope of their abilities in a fun and satisfying manner. [3]
Pastoral care is centred on the ‘whole child’ and addressing the individual needs of each member of the school’s community. The balanced PSHE syllabus ensures that leavers access further education with a strong awareness of their responsibilities as citizens of the modern world and the assets and qualities that make a great leader. The online assessment will cover the following areas:
- English – covers comprehension, sentence completion, spelling and punctuation.
- Maths – measures mathematical ability relative to the national curriculum stage.

In total, the online test will take approximately 90 minutes to administer and complete. It’s very likely there will be no audio component to any of the tests.
11 Plus (11+) Practice Tests | North Bridge House Senior Hampstead
At Pretest Plus, we believe that a little preparation can go a long way to improving a student’s confidence and performance in entrance examinations.
We thus provide online practice tests, video courses and skill specific tests which focus on helping students familiarise themselves with the exact types of questions that they will be asked in their 11+ assessment.
Online Practice Tests
These full mock tests are designed to provide your child with highly accurate practice ahead of their online assessment. Each practice test covers English, Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning, replicating the modules, timings and question types used in the actual exam. The Verbal Reasoning sections are not relevant.
Each test contains unique content but they are all pitched at the same difficulty level as the actual assessment. This means you can easily benchmark your child’s progress as they work through the practice tests, quickly identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
