Sherborne School is an independent boys’ school located beside Sherborne Abbey in Dorset. One of the oldest schools in the country, it occupies over 60 acres of sports grounds and operates in partnership with the neighbouring all-girls establishment, Sherborne Girls. [1]
Its academic provision is characterised by both breadth and depth, introducing pupils to relevant subject areas that help them effectively prepare for further education. The school uses a rich range of cutting-edge teaching methods, providing for boys’ academic needs through vigorous and overarching lessons in languages, science, humanities and technology.
The enrichment division produces curious thinkers and proficient learners, who approach their participation in co-curricular activities with genuine enthusiasm. Boasting a one-of-a-kind setting, Sherborne inspires dedication to hard work, fostering a welcoming community where friendships flourish. The school is a recognised centre of excellence, whose academically challenging ethos is offset with a rich programme of musical, artistic and literary opportunities, alongside extensive sporting offerings.

13 Plus (13+) Practice Tests | Sherborne School
At Pretest Plus, we believe that a little preparation can go a long way to improving a student’s confidence and performance in entrance examinations.
We thus provide online practice tests, video courses and skill specific tests which focus on helping students familiarise themselves with the exact types of questions that they will be asked in their ISEB Pretest assessment.
Online Practice Tests
These full mock tests are designed to provide your child with highly accurate practice ahead of their ISEB Pretest Assessment. Each practice test covers English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, replicating the modules, timings and question types used in the actual exam.
Each test contains unique content but they are all pitched at the same difficulty level as the actual assessment. This means you can easily benchmark your child’s progress as they work through the practice tests, quickly identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
