Introduction

Located in the heart of London, Wetherby School is a prestigious network of private schools for boys which have educated many notable alumni. The group’s standout feature is the well-regarded Wetherby Senior School, which has been educating boys between the ages of 11 and 18 since 2015. [1]

Wetherby Senior School delivers a curriculum that is both relevant and rigorous, taught by a team of highly qualified educators. Their instructional approach is designed to optimise each student’s academic performance across a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, technology, languages and sciences.

Complementing the extensive academic offering, Wetherby Senior runs a broad co-curricular programme that spans diverse interests, from Young Enterprise and Ancient Greek to Brass ensemble and Lord’s cricket. In this way, the school assists in cultivating boys’ self-confidence, teamwork abilities and leadership skills, all while providing an enjoyable and enriching experience. [2]

Wetherby Senior’s strategic location in Central London allows students to engage in meaningful volunteer opportunities, either within the immediate local community or across the city. In recent years, such initiatives included students visiting the nearby Marylebone Library to assist senior citizens in navigating digital devices.

A series of fundraising activities also takes place throughout the academic year, offering students the chance to not only raise money but also deepen their understanding of burning global issues. Consequently, boys mature into well-rounded individuals who approach life’s challenges holistically, equipped with not just strong academic skills but also with emotional intelligence, social awareness and a sense of civic responsibility. [3]
