Introduction

Based in Mayfair, Eaton Square Senior School is a beacon of traditional British co-education. It is widely recognised for providing a holistic education, which isn’t merely about scholarly pursuits. In fact, it is a harmonious blend of intellectual, aesthetic, physical and artistic development, underpinning a welcoming ethos that instils in students profound moral and spiritual values. [1]

Eaton Square offers a well-rounded curriculum, covering essential subjects, such as languages, technology, social studies and mathematics. Providing both balance and flexibility, their educational framework encourages students to reach their highest potential and promotes a dedication to academic excellence.

The programme of co-curricular activities comprises over 35 different pursuits, ranging from rugby, hockey and swimming to songwriting, mindfulness and drama. The goal is to allow each child to explore their individual interests and discover new talents. Interestingly, many of the clubs were initiated by the students themselves.

A vital aspect of the pastoral care provision is Wellbeing, which is taught to all pupils at the school, encouraging them to lead healthy and responsible lives. These lessons are delivered by both teaching staff and visiting speakers, addressing a wide spectrum of moral, cultural and political issues, including safer technology use, positive body image and anxiety management. [2]

Eaton Square Senior focuses its efforts on nurturing a genuine love of learning among its pupils. Resulting in academic perseverance and examination success, these endeavours help cultivate children into the leaders of tomorrow, who access further education and the world of work with high levels of self-confidence.
