What is ‘13+ Uppingham School Mathematics’?

It’s a fully up to date set of 54 online practice tests that will help your child prepare for the Mathematics section in the Uppingham School 13+ exam.

How will these practice tests benefit my child?

Uppingham School use an online test as part of their 13+ entry process for Year 9 entry.

 

This online test is taken in Year 6.

Level 1 – 20 questions. These are relatively simple questions to help familiarise your child with the key concepts of each question type. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 80-90%+ in Level 1 tests.

 

Level 2 – 20 questions. These are more challenging questions that require a little more thought and technique. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 70-80%+ in Level 2 tests.

 

Level 3 – 20 questions. These are advanced questions that represent the upper level of difficulty on the adaptive scale. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 60-70%+ in Level 3 tests.

The timings, question types, difficulty level, instructions and layouts are designed to match those of the actual exam.

Upon completion of these practice tests, your child will feel more confident and prepared for the actual assessment.

Each module can be completed separately. The modules are marked automatically and can then be reviewed with feedback and explanations provided for every question.

Comparative statistics are also provided so you can benchmark your child’s performance against their peer group.

You will have the option to take this practice test with 25% extra time. However, we only recommend choosing this option if you are sure your child will qualify for this extra time in the actual test.
