How to Apply for 11 Plus Entry to Westminster School

Parents are advised to submit application forms two years before the proposed date of entry. It’s also recommended by the school that families attend Open Mornings, which take place every year either in June or in September. During these events, prospective pupils can get a feel for the school’s atmosphere and meet current pupils and staff. Spots can be booked online.

The Westminster School 11 Plus Pretest Assessment

For 11 Plus entry, registered candidates will be invited to sit an online test (ISEB Common Pretest) for one morning or afternoon in November. If the candidate’s current school administers the test, he can take the test there.

Boys will be tested in maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Those who perform well in these computerised tests will be invited back to the school in late January to take additional written papers in maths and English, followed by an interview with senior member of staff in February. Dates and times will be confirmed by the Registrar. Offers of places are sent out in March.
