Doha College Entry – Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT)
Established in 1980, Doha College is one of the leading British curriculum schools in Qatar. A coeducational school of over 2,000 students, the college was opened to meet the demand for a British-style education. The school takes great pride in being an international community, teaching children from over 80 nationalities.
In 2018, Doha College was the first school in the world to be honoured with the High Performance Learning (HPL) accreditation. The College is set to open a large state-of-the-art campus in September 2020, which will feature dedicated zones for Primary and Secondary, as well as expansive indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

How to Apply for Entry to Doha College
Before registering with Doha College, parents should consider visiting to see its facilities and meet staff members. To discuss making an appointment, parents should contact the school’s admissions officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications for all years at Doha College can be done online. Parents must complete the registration form and pay an application fee of QR 200 per form. At the time of application, parents must also provide the following documentation:
The student’s most recent school report
A copy of the applicant’s passport
A copy of the applicant and sponsor’s Qatar Residence Permit (QID).
A passport size photograph

Doha College Entry – CAT Assessment
Doha College uses the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT) for Year 4 entry and above. All applicants are invited to take the CAT either onsite at Doha College or online for a fee of 500 QR per applicant.
The assessment takes approximately two hours to complete and tests students’ reasoning skills by specifically focusing on verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and spatial reasoning.
Doha College Admissions Criteria
Doha College is a selective entry school with a focus on academic excellence. As part of the admissions process, applicants are shortlisted from the application pool to sit the entrance assessments for entry to the college. Subject to availability, students who are successful in the assessment will either be offered places or added to a waiting list.
