Ardingly College is an independent boarding and day school located near Ardingly, West Sussex. Ardingly College 11 Plus (11+) Admissions Process
Ardingly College hosts Open Mornings for all prospective families, welcoming them on campus to hear from the Head and explore the extensive facilities. Members of the teaching and admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions of interest. To book, please click here.
Applications for 11+ places are made using an online form, which should be submitted with a payment of a £150 registration fee. The College will then obtain a reference from your child’s current school and invite them to attend Ardingly Engagement & Assessment Day , held in November. During this event, they will be formally assessed using an online test and join in some fun activities with the other applicants. There will also be an interview, scheduled to take place at a later time.
At 11+ entry, Ardingly College offers scholarships in the following areas:

For Academic scholarships, candidates will be selected on the grounds of performance in further assessments and exercises, alongside an interview. Candidates for Drama scholarships will be asked to perform a monologue and participate in a group improvisation, as well as attend an interview. Sports scholars will be selected on the basis of performance in practical tests that assess agility, speed, coordination, etc. They will also be observed taking part in all the major sports and be expected to excel in their chosen sport.
