Cheltenham College 11 Plus Online CAT4 Assessment
All potential candidates for Cheltenham College must visit the school to sit the Cognitive Abilities Test. Testing for both current and external pupils takes place in November. The test focuses on four types of Reasoning: Verbal, Non-Verbal, Spatial and Quantitative. These tests are taken online and can only be taken once. Candidates are also required to complete a handwritten writing task, with each test lasting between 30 and 50 minutes.
The tests aim to showcase a child’s ability to reason and can help to predict their attainment levels for the future.
Cheltenham College Admissions Criteria
To be in with a chance of attending Cheltenham College in Year 7, students must pass the CAT4 exam and recent school reports may also be taken into consideration if required.
