High School of Dundee is a co-educational day school in Dundee, Scotland. Upholding the motto Prestante Domino (With God As Our Guide), this private institution focuses on excellence as its ethos. Its alumni list is impressively long and diverse, featuring esteemed authors, scientists, lawyers, journalists, religious reformers and diplomats, among others. [1]

The academic achievements in the Senior School are exemplary. The rich range of subject areas, from computing and modern languages to Classics and science, empowers pupils to fully explore and develop their talents within the scope of the relevant educational experience on offer.

The co-curriculum is equally comprehensive, ensuring that children’s development extends across a multitude of opportunities, including climbing, gardening, choir, hockey and tennis. Fundraising and charitable activities are particularly popular among students, as they allow them to engage in character development centred around compassion and unity. [2]

Pastorally, the school effectively addresses individual needs, offering extensive and specialised support for this purpose. Partnerships with families are a central aspect of pupils’ education, enabling this thriving institution to actively involve parents in their child’s academic and personal growth.
