Lancing College is an independent boarding and day school for pupils aged 13-18. Occupying a magnificent campus east of Worthing, near the village of Lancing, the College has educated a vast number of notable alumni, including successful politicians, pioneering scientists and renowned businesspeople. [1]

In line with the motto Beati Mundo Corde (Blessed are the pure in heart), Lancing encourages independent thought and teaches students to approach life’s complexities with an open mind. Its curriculum extensively prepares the cohort for the next stages of their education, comprising everything from DT and natural sciences to classics and humanities.

The co-curricular programme in the Senior School is aimed at maximising students’ skills across a range of non-academic domains, including fencing, Chinese, street dance, swimming, orchestra and choir. The programme enhances the personal development of each learner on campus, providing life-changing experiences that are just as relevant as they are memorable. [2]

Lancing College’s efforts to mould boys and girls into accomplished global citizens allow students to navigate their academic paths with aptitude. The My Future programme, for example, aims to propel the cohort into their futures as assured, ambitious and self-aware individuals, deeply immersing them into the realm of professional life. Tailored to match the demands of the 21st-century workplace, the initiative helps hone individual strengths and assists in developing essential soft skills, providing students with an insightful glimpse into various careers and professions.
